Annual Bridges Ride

Cedar Valley Nature Trail bridges land and people. The Cedar Valley bicycling community invites you to participate in a free, public bike ride on June 7th, 2025, to celebrate and commemorate efforts to replace or repair bridges on the Cedar Valley Nature Trail.

Informal start at 9:00am at Pfeiffer Spring Park in Cedar Falls or Cedar Valley Nature Trail parking lot in Evansdale.

Bridges Ride distance options include (find detailed routes on the event page):

• 60-mile advanced ride – Pfeiffer Park in Cedar Falls, Iowa to McFarlane Bridge in La Porte City, Iowa and back to Pfeiffer Park in Cedar Falls, Iowa. 
• 30-mile intermediate ride - Cedar Valley Nature Trail parking lot in Evansdale, Iowa to McFarlane Bridge in La Porte City, Iowa and back to Cedar Valley Nature Trail parking lot in Evansdale, Iowa. 
• 9-mile family ride – Cedar Valley Nature Trail parking lot in Evansdale, Iowa to Gilbertville Depot in Gilbertville, Iowa and back Cedar Valley Nature Trail parking lot in Evansdale, Iowa. 

The party is happening in route at Gilbertville Depot:

• Entertainment starting with DJ Disco Josh and followed by Bob Dorr & Jeff Petersen.
• Mouthwatering food options.
• A large amount of free beverages thanks to Second State Brewing, SingleSpeed Brewing Co. and Cedar Valley Cyclists!
