Cedar Valley Nature Trail bridges land and people. The Cedar Valley bicycling community invites you to participate in a free, public bike ride on June 7th, 2025, to celebrate and commemorate efforts to replace or repair bridges on the Cedar Valley Nature Trail.
NOTE: the 60-mile ride starts this year at Gateway Park, not Pfeiffer Park as noted in last communication.
Informal start at 9:00am at Gateway Park in Cedar Falls or Cedar Valley Nature Trail parking lot in Evansdale.
Bridges Ride distance options include (find detailed routes on the event page):
- 60-mile advanced ride – Gateway Park in Cedar Falls, Iowa to McFarlane Bridge in La Porte City, Iowa and back to Pfeiffer Park in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
- 30-mile intermediate ride - Cedar Valley Nature Trail parking lot in Evansdale, Iowa to McFarlane Bridge in La Porte City, Iowa and back to Cedar Valley Nature Trail parking lot in Evansdale, Iowa.
- 9-mile family ride – Cedar Valley Nature Trail parking lot in Evansdale, Iowa to Gilbertville Depot in Gilbertville, Iowa and back Cedar Valley Nature Trail parking lot in Evansdale, Iowa.
