    Get pumped up for CVC's WOW (Wednesdays on Wheels) rides each Wednesday, 5/1/2024-10/2/2024.

    WOW rides meet at Overman Park, Cedar Falls, with three ride types:

    Fast Road Ride, departing at 5:45pm

    Regular Road Ride, departing at 6:00pm

    Trail Ride, departing at 6:00pm

    Check our Facebook page for weekly routes, updates and ride personalities. If you are new to the ride scene, just let the leader know so we can welcome you and provide ride insights. And for even more fun, we meet at CVC beverage-pouring sponsors after the ride (we love our sponsors!), details normally posted on Facebook.

    Note to Waffle Riders... the Denver Waffle Ride POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. The American Legion's waffle breakfast is postponed until elevator renovations are completed at the Legion. We will repost the ride once the popular breakfast resumes.

  • Fall Time Trials

    Join CVC for our our annual Time Trial series, every Thursday starting 8/15 through 9/5. Time trials are fun, a great opportunity to push your heart rate with fellow riders. All ages, all abilities are encouraged to ride!

    The course is a timed, five mile out-and-back (10 miles total) on 27th Street in Cedar Falls. Meet at the corner of 27th Street and Union Road. Check-in begins at 6:00pm with the first rider pushing off at 6:30pm. There will be high-fives at the finish and award/recognition at the end-of-series Fall Time Trial Celebration too (fastest, most-improved, most attended, etc.).

    This year, we are introducing online registration. Register on the event page: Fall Time Trials. For $10, you get a a ticket for every fall Time Trial event (4 total) AND the coveted end-of-series Fall Time Trial Celebration for pizza, beverages and recognitions. Or, you can pay $5 for each Fall Time Trial participation (you receive an automatic Celebration ticket for two time trial participations). In other words, click the event link to sign up!

  • CVC - Spin For A Cause - To Support IHope

    As we’ve done the last few years, we will ride our spin bikes to raise money for IHOPE. The circuit weight portion will start promptly at 8am in the Powerhouse room, Waterloo SportsPlex. At 8:30am we will mount our spin bike to complete our workout for IHOPE. If you want to skip the HIIT, you can come for the spin portion only at 8:30am 

    We have 30 spin bikes that we would love to sell out!! As always, we will have raffle prizes   There is a suggested donation of $25 for this event.

    To keep track of participants please comment “coming” in the comment section to reserve/confirm your bike.

    IHOPE provides amtrykes-adaptive trycycles to children and adults who cannot ride a two wheeled bicycle. Because of physical and or mental challenges.
