Cedar Valley Cyclist’s (CVC) annual breast cancer awareness ride will be on Saturday, September 26th. Registration starts at 9:30am at Anton's Garden, 518 Sycamore St., Waterloo, the ride pushes off at 10:00am. Suggested donation for the ride is $25 with proceeds going to the Beyond Pink Team who locally support women with Breast Cancer.
The ride will follow local trails along the Cedar River to the fun Twisted Cross Event at Tondro Pray Bike Park. Riders can then return to Anton's Garden for Oktoberfest!
Ride organizers include CVC board members Gretchen Harken who is a 37-year Breast Cancer Survivor. The ride will celebrate survival, friendship, cycling and prevention. Costumes are welcome. For more information contact Gert at getgoinggert@gmail.com.
